The Dress

**Motivated to sell- hoping to use some of the income from this sale to fund our upcoming honeymoon trip!**

This is the Daria dress from Theia. It has a mermaid style body with a v-neck and the slightest of capped sleeves. This dress's best details are in the back- it has a beautiful train and cowl back that shows off the open back. I wore it on my wedding on June 23, 2019. Please see below for additional details. Photos
- The first two photos are from my wedding and help show the front and back of the dress. The third photo is not mine, but is used to show how my dress was bustled (although on my dress the draped fabric is held up and in place with small hooks, not with tied ribbons) . The fourth photo is from a commercial retailer and just helps show the front a little better. Happy to send additional photos!

Sizing
- This dress is a size 14 (Theia's sizing). Still White lists it as a 12 because that is my "street size."
- I am usually a size 12/14 regular or petite at JCrew, a petite 12 in pants at Ann Taylor Loft, a large/large petite at Express. I wear a 38/40 B/C in bra size, depending on the company.
- This dress was altered slightly to fit me and my petite frame better. Please see the notes under "Alterations" below.

Recommended undergarments
- I wore the Spanx Suit Your Fancy Plunge Low-Back Mid-Thigh Bodysuit along with silicone adhesive cups (I have a slightly larger chest and need a tad extra support while still being able to wear a backless dress).

Condition
- I wore this dress for about 4 hours during my wedding (after which I switched into a shorter length, more dance-able dress).
- This dress has been dry cleaned. There aren't any stains, marks, or snags in the exterior fabric, but there is some light discoloration on the inside lining of the train, which shouldn't be visible unless the train became flipped so that the inside was exposed and you were looking very closely.

Alterations

This dress was altered to fit my petite frame. I am 5'3" without shoes and 5'6" with the Betsey Johnson heels I wore on my wedding day. With those heels, the dress just grazed the ground. I also had the dress taken up about 1 inch in the shoulders, which brought the neckline, the waistline, and the cowl fabric in the back up just slightly. This dress is also bustled (I don't have my own photo that shows the bustle, but my seamstress bustled the dress to look like the bustling shown in the third photo)- however, on my dress the draped fabric is held up and in place with small hooks, not with tied ribbons.
