The Dress

This ivory pearl dress is the second I tried on and I knew instantly it was the one. Comfortable, uncomplicated and romantic. The all-silk lining inside was amazing; it felt like I was wearing a nightgown! It has a nice weight and thickness that makes it fall just right and sway around when you're twirling and dancing. I loved that the bodice was so form fitting and that the skirt started falling away from the body at the waist. Made it the perfect dress for an outdoor country wedding. I could move around, sit and dance comfortably all day and night. Since the wedding was outside, some small tears occurred on the bottom layers of tulle. Alterations

Took the bodice in to fit closer to bust, demi cups added for extra lift at the bust. Can be easily removed. Some stitching removed under the cap sleeves to not rub too much under the armpit. Hemmed to shorten length of train. I'm 5'8 and wore 2 inch block heels; the front of the dress was also hemmed so that I wouldn't step on it. 3 little hooks (hidden in tulle) at the back so you can pin the train up later in the day.
