The Dress

Free Spirit dress by Lost in Paris, handmade from vintage French lace (soft cotton with a gentle stretch). This dress is super flattering and forgiving, made me feel and look beautiful without any of the fuss or uncomfortableness of a traditional wedding dress. This dress is perfect for the eco, vintage, rustic, hippy, earthy, free spirited bride, or anyone who just wants an easy to wear and gorgeous wedding dress!

It has a hidden zip up the back and comes with the original nude coloured silk slip. If you can sew even just a little, you can easily adjust the neckline to have it lower or higher to suit your taste (sew more of the circles together or snip a couple apart).

This dress was only worn for about 2 hours for an elopement and a few photos - it is in very good used condition, has no smell as I didn't wear perfume and don't smoke. It has been stored in acid free tissue paper, waiting for another bride's magical day.

I was an Australian size 16-18 when I wore this (more 16 but with size E bra) but because of the design and gentle stretch lace I would say it would fit and suit a range of body shapes and styles - it would still look amazing if it was a loose fit on you as well (but is an easy dress to have taken in if you need to). I didn't have it dry cleaned as it doesn't smell and I only wore it for such a short time (shorter than some fittings run for!), and I don't know any dry cleaners locally that I can say I'd trust 100% (we just moved last year). The designer said she just handwashes her dresses as they are cotton and lay flat to dry, pulling the fabric gently into shape.

The colour is a lovely soft white (ivory or off white) not a harsh white, so it will suit a range of skin tones. This dress looks great with a range of accessories too - shawls, boots, flats, heels or barefoot!

**NB: just found a small spot with some loose thread at the hem, and also a couple of very small brown spots near the bottom of the dress that should easily come out in the wash/dry clean, so I have reduced the price further to reflect this. They are barely noticeable and almost look like part of the lace design which is why I didn't notice them before. Message me for more photos!**

Waist was taken in and hem shortened by the designer.
