The Dress

Ball Gown with Beaded Bodice and Full Ruffle Skirt. The dress has spaghetti straps and a beaded illusion bodice. The full ruffle tulle skirt features a horsehair hem and is finished with buttons at the zipper closure. We added a bustle onto the skirt during alterations. The train is long and beautiful in photos. The dress is gorgeous and flattering.

I always used to say “I’d never pick a ball gown”, but as soon as I put it on, it was love at first sight. I felt like a princess for a day, and would love to pass on that chance to another bride. I’m normally not the center of attention, but this dress made me feel seen for a day. My husband loved it and we shared a wonderful day together, the best day!!

Alterations

Bought dress at size 8 to accommodate my waist. Bustle was added in. Took out one layer of skirt. Altered the top with push up cups for a 32A (those can possibly be taken out in alterations for someone with a larger bust). Skirt was hemmed to floor length while I’m wearing heels (5’10). I am pear shaped, so if you have a bottom that is kinda larger than your top, then this is the dress for you!
