The Dress

Delila Fox Dion Gown. Feminine and minimal the Dion gown, dressed in 2 layers of silk crepe and 2 layers of light weight matte silk satin lining is a chameleon of style. Dress her up with the detachable bow tie - I planned to remove the bow for the reception but ended up leaving it as I loved it so much.
This beauty was so comfortable, I could easily sit for dinner and dance all night and she flawlessly endured a consistent sprinkling of Sydney rain (it's good luck, right?).
I loved the modern understated elegance of this dress with the stunning back as a unique point of difference.

I'm 5'10/178cm tall, the dress is floor length with 10cm heels on so there's plenty of length to work with.

Alterations

The neck line was custom ordered with a flat finish rather than the standard point (please see photos).
The dress was ordered as a small in the top and medium in the skirt however, the skirt was taken in to fit as it was much too large.
The lining of the darts across the bust were flattened out as they weren't smooth when the dress arrived.
The buttons on the strap closure were reinforced with hidden hooks and ties were added under dress to allow the train to be bustled up.
Alterations cost $750.
