The Dress

Listed for sale is this beautiful Essense of Australia Wedding gown, in style D2363. It is in like new condition and was only worn for 4 hours on my wedding day. Since then it has been professional dry cleaned and stored in a dust-free, odor-free garment bag.

The dress itself is absolutely gorgeous- intricate beading all along the bodice, light catching shoulder straps, delicate and soft/romantic layers of tulle cascading down, as well as an additional SPARKLY layer of tulle that glitters when light shines on it! (See video from 3:30-3:45) when I spin you can see how the tulle sparkles!)

I did have this gown altered- please see detailed alterations list below. If you are close to my size, I think that you will be quite happy with the small touches I opted for as I believe it makes this dress more one-of-a-kind and like your own. Custom beaded shoulder straps, beaded wrist straps, softer hem - makes for a really romantic and sparkly gown!

Alterations

1.) Custom 3 strand beaded shoulder straps were sewn on by hand, as well as a beaded wrist strap design that is hidden into the train of dress but comes out easily so walking around in this dress is a breeze! After much consultation with my tailor, this is a much better option than bustling it due to the number of tulle layers this dress has!

2.)Horsehair tulle and 1 layer of stiff tulle was removed from the bottom, making the hem more of a softer a-line (rather than the ballgown type hem that is on the unaltered dress). I saved the horsehair hem and can ship with the dress in case you wanted to sew it back on.

3.) Hem was shortened to accommodate my height (5’2” plus 4 inch heels). Straps were shortened and sides were also taken in to support a 34B bust. Please see the listed measurements to see if this will fit you.
