The Dress

This Amy Michelson dress is a classic. It invokes old Hollywood glamour with added elegance fit for the modern bride. The color is “antique pearl” and the fabric is the most silky and luxurious thing I’ve ever worn (the lighting in the pictures makes it look more creamy than it really is). The dress was altered to fit by a woman that specializes in wedding couture. It came with a built in bra, but she added a French bustle so I could easily walk and dance after the ceremony. The dress comes with a matching floor length veil that trails lovely behind your medium length dress train. The dress was cleaned and preserved within a week of wear and has been kept in a climate controlled interior closet ever since. I have size 9 shoes that match the dress color exactly with a two to three inch heel (optional).

Alterations

The dress was altered by a woman specializing in couture wedding dresses. It was ordered larger to accommodate my 38DDs. The waist was brought in as was the hips. She added an elegant French bustle which allowed me to walk and dance easily.
