The Dress

The Cara Gown is made from a luxurious heavy weight 100% silk satin. The top of the dress features a modern high neckline, with a deep V back and a fitted short sleeve. The twist front is created using a Japanese form of pattern making. https://preajames.com.au/cara-gown

The top attaches to the skirt along the back waist to give the look of a top and skirt with the practicality of dress. The skirt sits high on the waist and the cutout at front reveals only a slither of skin. The centre front seam and a split that starts from just above the knee. There is little extra flare in the skirt that gives a beautiful flowing silhouette and leads to a 30cm train.

The beautiful lustre of the silk satin gives this relaxed wedding gown a luxury feel and look.

I wore this dress at my wedding on 4 January 2020. It is is excellent condition, and has some minor signs of wear on the underside of the hem, but they are not noticeable at all when it is on. It has been dry cleaned and is ready to go. I live in Richmond in Melbourne and I am super happy for anyone to come and try it on. I usually wear a size 8 or small for reference. The dress is marked as a size 9 because the top is an 8, waist is a 9 and hips are a 10. I usually wear size 26 or 27 jeans to give you an idea of my waist size. I have been told it is a reasonably easy dress to alter. I am 168cm tall, and wore very high heels with the dress. I did not have the length altered, so it can be taken up if you are shorter, this would also get rid of the marks on the hemline I guess!
