The Dress

I wanted a Pallas Couture style dress without the price tag, so I got one custom made and it was exactly what I wanted! I hope this dress brings the same joy for someone else too!

The dress fabric is a beautifully detailed lace with threads of silver intertwined in the floral patterns. The flare of the dress begins around the knee but is subtle so you get a natural drape rather than a more traditional harsh trumpet or mermaid flare. The train of the dress is beautifully dramatic with some very thoughtful embroidery to continue the floral lace pattern onto the sheer tulle. Below the knee the dress fabric develops into tulle so you can see a a glimpse of leg and those very important shoes.The bodice of the dress draws in at the waist and is lined at the front but unlined at the back for an elegant element of sheer that really draws attention to the lace detailing. The train can be picked up but looks beautiful and wispy as it drapes along the ground. I am keeping my veil as a memento but I would highly recommend finding a long veil to pair with the train for the full wow factor of this dress.

In terms of sizing I am usually a size 8 top and 10 bottom so please refer to the listed measurements as this was custom made to fit me. The bottom/hip area is already quite fitted however there would definitely be more wriggle room in the top for a bigger bust. I am 167cm tall and wore a small heel.

The dress will be dry cleaned. Happy to facilitate try-ons.
