The Dress

Enzoani Nuri dress, altered before I wore it for my wedding in December 2019 so it’s completely unique. I knew I wanted an Enzoani dress after researching lace dresses on Pinterest so I booked an appointment with the biggest stockist I could find that was nearby. It was the first dress I tried on and I fell in love with it and bought it that day. The original design, as seen on the Enzoani website, has a built in bodysuit but the skirt and and train can be lined with a nude fabric and will still look fantastic. Rather than doing that I opted to have the dress altered in house as I felt the bodysuit was too revealing given I’d have my back to our guests during the ceremony and it was a winter wedding, so there’s a built in bodice with short skirt (kind of like shape wear) as I loved the sheerness of the design and wanted to retain this in a way that would suit my figure. I had cups inserted to give me a little extra oomph and the inbuilt shorts were turned into a nude mini skirt instead which came down to my mid-thigh to make it a little bit more modest. The entire dress is intricately beaded with a low back which looked beautiful in the photos, particularly as we had a candlelit ceremony and wedding breakfast so it shimmered in the light, and the train is spectacular. The photos from the back or where I’m facing my husband are my favourite! I’m 5 foot 4 and a 34c, 5 foot 6 in the heels I wore on the day and I usually wear a size 8. The front is a low cut v-neck design and photographed beautifully it was so flattering, I would be happy to provide additional photos if requested. The dress retails at the shop I bought it from for around £2800 (in June 2019 at the time of purchase). Dress has been cleaned and i would be happy for potential buyers to inspect it and try it on, I’m based in London.
