The Dress

This beautiful, hand-beaded wedding gown was so lovely to wear and very comfortable. The beading in the bodice contrasts the beading and sequined skirt. The outer layer is more sheer with a silk slip type under layer - so lovely on your skin. The train makes this dress really special and I love that it is modern, feminine and glamorous.

The gown has some stretch so it will fit different body shapes. I have a large bust so I bought the size 12 and had the waist altered down to a 10 - this alteration is reversible. It would suit someone curvy like me as well as someone with a smaller bust where you could have a stitch bring the neckline up (it had a stitch which I had the dressmaker remove).

The gown is in great condition, I have checked it thoroughly and I have the gown bag for it as well.

I was married in February 2019 and wore this gown for 3 hours before putting a different outfit on for dancing. The dress was really comfortable though so I could have worn it all night.

Alterations

Boning has been put in the sides of the bust area, and the hem was taken up. I also had the sides taken in to give me a smaller waist but this has been gently stitched and is reversible. There was a single stitch that holds the v-neck closed which looks great with a smaller bust. I am a cup size E so I had this stitch removed - this alteration is also reversible.
