The Dress

I love this stunning dress and am so sad to let it go, but with it sitting lonely in the wardrobe and a baby on the way it's time for someone else to love it as much as I did. The gown was very comfortable to wear and having the hand loop to lift the train up was amazing. I wore it in the middle of summer, and although it is a heavy fabric I didn't overheat. Perfect for both a summer or winter wedding.

The dress includes both the lace gown and ivory silk slip which are both size 8, my usual dress size. I have had the dress dry cleaned professionally.

Note: There is a small hole in the sleeve of the lace which you could get stitched up if you were worried. There is also a small light stain in the slip on the lower front which you wouldn't notice, especially with the lace over top. Please let me know if you would like to see pictures of these. I am based in Hamilton but travel to the Bay of Plenty semi regularly, try ons more than welcome.

The Avril Gown is inspired by brave, bold, daring women. It has an all over dramatic Cornelli Lace, with placements designed to flatter the figure from all angles. Cut out details on the train and sleeves, low back, full skirt and train.

Alterations

I had the back lowered and opened up on both the slip and the lace gown. I also have the V line in the front lowered to be a bit more of a flattering cut.
