Stunning - Classic - & elegant, I loved wearing this dress for my elopement in the Blue Mountains!

The material is a type of bridal crepe called Georgette. It moves well, and is weighted and has several internal material layers, so it feel like you feel the sense of occasion wearing this dress.

The fabric is more forgiving most modern sheer bridal crepes and the style is timeless.

The back is simple and a modern design, with medium height. I left the back at this height as it provided more support through the waist and bust, but you could easily have the back dropped lower, or buttons added down the zip (I can send photos of the back if you like).

V neck is altered from the original design to provide more support through waist and bust. But this can easily be dropped, or left as is and shoulders taken in for more conservative coverage, if that is horn style.

*today I was showing mum the dress and we noticed that the hem has a little tear underneath, this will disappear if you have the dress hemmed (I am quite tall and wore high heels!) Its a stunning dress, but I will drop the price to account for the cost of a high-end tailor altering the dress hem.

Alterations

I bought this gown off Still White a couple of month ago before we eloped. The last bride to wear it had smaller measurements than me, more like a size 8. I bought it online and took it to a tailor and asked her to let it out to the original size 10.

La Couturier Alterations in Sydney CBD worked this magic for me. $700 in value this adjusted the dress back to a size 10 through chest, shoulders and waist. Hips were let out slightly as well, and sit gently over my size 8 hips.

This can all be reversed if desired, but this dress is now closer to a size 10. I also had extra cups sewn into the dress, so didn't need to worry about tape or a bra (I am a DD), these could also be taken out or reversed. I think the last bride was a B cup. Hope this alterations info is helpful!
