The Dress

I absolutely loved wearing this dress on my wedding day. It's perfect for a bride looking for a classic and timeless look while still being really modern and sleek. It is stretch crepe with v front, mesh v at sides and v back to the waist and has a long dramatic train. The minimalist style also allows you to have a bit of fun with the accessories. The cut is quite similar to Sarah Seven 'Belmont' gown.

The dress is made with thick crepe so it has a really smooth and flattering look. There were so many dresses I tried on that I loved, but I just couldn't go past how comfortable and well made this dress was. I've also seen this dress look so wonderful on women of all different shapes and sizes, which really is a testament to the designer.

I went up a size than what I was measured at to be absolutely sure it would fit/cover my DD bust cup size and expected to have to get it taken in quite a bit at the hips but didn't need to. As per the designers measurements, there is still room in the hips area for someone slightly bigger than me due to the stretch crepe material and even without the stretch there is still a little room.

My veil is the petal veil from Theia Couture, which I am happy to negotiate selling with the dress too.

Both dress and veil were purchased from the Bride Lab in Adelaide.

Alterations

- Shortened slightly at front to suit my height (171cm, with 9cm heels) but no length taken off the train
- Straps shortened ~1-2cm
- White hook and eye to replace the silver one that came on the dress (to make it more invisible)
- Bust cups added which can easily be removed
- Wrist strap and bustle added
