The Dress
Traditional Chinese wedding dress, qun kwa:
- Two piece wedding dress (top and skirt);
- Elegant and flattering fit;
- Scalloped hems on the ends of the top;
- Embroidered motifs.
I bought this dress secondhand; the original buyer purchased the dress in Shanghai. I wore this dress during my Chinese wedding tea ceremony for a short duration (approximately 1 hour). I chose to wear a qun kwa as my wedding is the only chance I will get to wear a traditional Chinese wedding dress!
This dress will fit sizes AU 4 to AU 8. The skirt comes with a drawstring that can be adjusted to fit various waist sizes.
