The Dress

This is a beautiful vintage Jenny Packham Wedding dress (bought in 2009). It is incredibly soft and light as air so ideal for a bride that wants to be able to move freely whilst still looking effortlessly glamourous. It is incredibly flattering and simple in its design with just enough glamour coming from the crystal band at the waist.

I bought this dress as a teenager but didn't end up getting married until my twenties and unfortunately it no longer suited my wedding theme. It does mean however it is completely brand new, in flawless condition and unworn. I was very sad that it no longer suited me as it feels unbelievably soft and it's perfect for swishing around on the dance floor!

Alterations

I had one initial alteration to the dress which made it smaller than it's tag size (size 12). The alterations fit the above measurements well as they are my current measurements and I still fit into it fine. It is currently very long as I hadn't had it taken up to my 5ft 4 height. It currently would be perfect for someone around 5ft 10 (or if you had some heels!) Otherwise it would require some tailoring to make it shorter. My friend is showcasing it in the photos and for reference she is 5 ft 11 (bust 32F, waist 25.5inch, hips 40inch). She is not wearing a bra in the photos but I feel all that the dress requires is some cups to give a little support. The dress has a hidden side zip. To protect the crystal waist band you can see the plastic wrapping is still on there in the photos.
