The Dress

Size 8 Karen Willis Holmes 'Nadia' Wedding Gown from their Wild Hearts collection. Features lace material, v-neckline, thigh split to the front, belt with gold clasp (which can be removed), pockets(!), open v back.

The dress was so comfortable and flattering on the day, it was easy to walk in because of the split and I loved being able to eat lots without the risk of any potential bloating showing! My main requirements for a dress was that it had to have a whimsical and bohemian feel to it, while still having quite a classic cut and look - and I feel as though the Nadia gown met this perfectly!

Paid $2617, including alterations as described below.

I have also paid $300 for professional dry cleaning and boxing.

The dress is in amazing condition aside from a small amount of pull at the bottom of the lining (which isn’t visible due to the lace covering it - and will probably need to be cut away if you aren’t as tall as me anyway!

Alterations

Alterations ($250) made to shorten straps and to add in a bustle and finger loop. No length was taken off (I am 179cm and wore 6cm heels on the day).
