The Dress

Marchesa Notte ivory gown - the dress has several layers including a glitter tulle with a pattern of gold flowers and little stars, with thousands of tiny ivory iridescent sequins.

I really wanted a fresh but timeless wedding dress, with sleeves, that wouldn't date in photos. I was so thrilled when I found this one - the sheer sleeves, neckline and back give you a hint of coverage but are light and airy. The whole dress is easy and comfortable to wear - and our wedding was on one of the hottest days of the year. The dress's silhouette is elegant and flattering and there is the 'wow' factor that comes from the glitter tulle fabric dress which sparkles beautifully in both sunlight and in low light and creates a really magical effect. I am 5'11 and wore flats with a 3/4 inch heel.

The dress has been cleaned is ready to go. There is a tiny spot (3 mm) on the lining -not visible when the dress is on.

Alterations

The only alteration was the removal of a narrow strip (32 cm in length, btw 2-5 cm in width) of the glitter tulle from the bottom of the front of the dress, which could be reattached, if necessary.
