The Dress
I loved wearing this dress on our wedding day. I received so many compliments and it was amazingly comfortable. The sample I tried on was a 10 and KWH recommended ordering the 8 and it was absolutely the right decision as everything fitted that little bit firmer. I didn’t need to wear a bra with it and you can sew cups in if preferred.
The dress is fully sequinned with a train and is stretchy and very forgiving so would easily fit an 8-10 and even a 12 depending on your shape. I could sit comfortably and dance and didn’t have to think about the dress at all during the night. It has been professionally dry cleaned and inspected and there are spare sequins just in case you need them, though I didn’t.
I am 5ft 9 (176cm) and the dress was hemmed for my 6cm heels so there is plenty of length available for different heights.
Alterations
Hemmed to fit 176cm tall plus 6cm heels.
Bustle added to tie the train up.
Silk lining under the train shortened to reduce weight.
