The Dress

UNALTERED! NEVER WORN! (Sample from bridal store)

This gorgeous Pronovias Irune gown was a sample bought from a bridal store. It still has the tags and is unaltered. I love this dress but we decided to go with a casual courthouse wedding in the end.

This gown is made of ivory crepe. The simplicity and elegance of the design highlights the beautiful craftsmanship of the gown with its masterful lines, while the train and dramatic V back make it feel special and formal.

Beautiful capped sleeves embellished with embroidery and beads provide just the right amount of glamour.

In terms of flaws, there are a few small wear-and-tear items from being tried on in the shop where it was a sample gown. I've featured the flaws in the photos that are posted. The dress is stored in a garment bag so that is why it is wrinkled in the photos. :)

The imperfections are as follows:

1) There are a few of the pearl-like beads missing from the left sleeve. I didn't find it noticeable, but they'd be easily replaced by a tailor.

2) There's a smaller-than-dime-sized smudge on the train, but that will be taken care of with dry cleaning.

3) There are two buttons missing from the back, but the dress still has its original replacement button with the tags, and I have the other button which fell off shortly after I received it, so you won't need to find replacement buttons. In alterations these can easily be sewn on.

4) There is a little discoloration around the armpits from being tried on by various brides in the shop. I'm sure this is the kind of thing that dry cleaners are good at removing from bridal gowns. You can see the discoloration in one of the photos. There is no odor (I've even had a few "guest smellers" to triple check).
