The Dress

About my dress:

I bought this "Worship" dress directly from The Strand Arcade Lover store, as part of their White Magick collection in Sydney in September 2018 for my wedding which was May 2019. I cannot even say how much I love this dress and how comfortable and great I felt on the night! I should add that I never usually wear fitted pieces, but this dress is made so incredibly well, it has a great cut, style and is so flattering. I am a very down the line size 8 usually and this fit like a glove, but there was definitely a little more room in the bust for someone larger than a 83cm measurement.

This dress holds beautiful memories for me, but I would love to see it have a second life for someone else to enjoy it. The girls at the boutique told me that Lover are no longer making this dress anymore, which adds to its unique character - not many other people will have this dress!

I've only worn this once for my wedding day, and it has been professionally dry cleaned afterwards. It would suit a variety of occasions as well as it is such a modern style. It is in great condition - no pulls in the fabric at all. There is one faded mark on the very bottom of the back of the 'train' which is 1cm wide, but is very hard to see.

Alterations

30mm has been cut off the end at the back to suit my height (163cm, 170cm with shoes). This was done by a professional seamstress. No other alterations to the body.
