The Dress

This Paloma Blanca wedding dress was originally purchased in 2012 at The Plumed Serpent Bridal in Westport, CT. It features a beautiful beaded accent under the bust and a gorgeous sweetheart neckline. This style is incredibly flattering on all body types and will make you feel gorgeous on your special day. The ruched detail creates and accentuates curves. The skirt bustles flatteringly in the back. I've seen the style both described as Mermaid and Fit & Flare, I think it has more "wiggle" room than a traditionally fitted Mermaid so I've indicated Fit & Flare. I'm barely 5'4 and wore the dress with 3" heels, I think there is definitely room for a higher heel or slightly taller person. The color is not a true bright white, but it also is not as dark as other ivory shades. You can see in the photos how different lighting shows the color. The back has a zipper hidden by a row of traditional button detailing.

The dress has been professionally cleaned and stored along with the veil (see photo).This was done immediately after my wedding in October 2012 and the box has not been opened since that time. I did not even wear the dress for the entire wedding reception (I changed into a second dress), so it was probably worn just once for a total of 2-3 hours! It is in excellent condition. I will remove the veil prior to shipping.

The dress was altered for overall fit. Unfortunately I don't have my measurements from when this was altered!
