When I got engaged I knew I wouldn’t be able to look around the bridal stores for a dress because of how busy I was, so I started my search on social media. I looked through bridal designers Instagram and Pinterest accounts and found the perfect dress by an Indonesian designer. He had designed a similar dress for a previous Miss Indonesia and my mum and I absolutely loved it. I contacted him immediately, spoke about my specifications, sent him my measurements and made a deposit.
Five months later I received the most perfect dress ever via dhl. The fit was perfect, even though I and the designer never met. The whole process of me finding my dress was pretty unorthodox and somewhat magical, and I’m hoping another bride may feel the same magic I felt when I wore the dress.
