The Dress

I only tried it on briefly, this gown is in new and unaltered condition. I planned to wear it as a rehearsal dinner or reception gown, but my wedding plans and venue have changed. The second photo is me trying the gown on.

Decorated with a beautiful print inspired by vintage wallpaper, this tulle-crafted dress has a ruffled, romantic texture. Ribbon motifs run throughout this dress, creating a flowing artwork design. This maxi floral gown features long sheer sleeves, smocked cuffs, and ruffle tulle detailing. It is designed with a tulle voluminous skirt and a grosgrain ribbon trim around the waist. Bodice is partially lined with an internal camisole (with adjustable straps). There is a concealed zip at centre back.

Why I loved it and how it feels to try on:
This gown is so romantic and airy. It is light and fun to twirl in! I wanted something that wasn't the usual white gown, and this floral print is something different yet classic. It is light and breathable so it works for a summer wedding. The long sleeves also make it fall and winter appropriate. There is no train, so that makes it easy for entertaining and dancing in. It's comfortable, and the waist ribbon placement provides room for enjoying dinner and sitting comfortably!

Sizing:
This is a UK size 8 that fits small, more like a US 2. The bust is 32.25 inches, waist is 25.5 inches, hip is 35.5 inches, and neck to hem is 61 inches. I am 5"10 in the photo, wearing heels.
