The Dress

This gorgeous Mori Lee Blu by Madeline Gardner was my dream dress, and I hope it is yours too! Embroidered appliqués with crystal beading accent the soft tulle gown with satin waistband. Wearing this dress I felt incredibly confident. The fit was very comfortable, with the bodice secure enough to never have to worry about anything slipping, and the ribbing of the corset was not uncomfortable for eating or dancing. It has a breathtaking long train.

The dress is in excellent condition. I did not clean it because there was almost nothing to clean on it. On the back side of the inner lining (not the train, but the back of the dress if there was no train), there is a quarter-sized asphalt stain.

Alterations

The dress's length was altered for a person who is 5'8" to wear it barefoot or with flats. The bodice's sheer cap sleeves were raised slightly to accommodate a B bra size. The bodice could be re-altered to fit a slightly larger chest. Push-up bra cups were added but could be easily removed to leave the dress's original lined bodice (with the current alterations, the bust fits 32", but with the cups removed would fit up to 34.5"). There is an American style bustle with two easy closures added to the dress that holds up the entire train for dancing.
