The Dress

The dress is 2 separate pieces, a corset top and a flowy ballgown skirt. The corset top has been altered (see description below) but fits well with ribbing inside so I was never worried about the cups gaping or the top slipping down during the wedding or reception. The top is more pink/ivory but has cream lace over the pink base.

The skirt is structured tulle, flowy enough to spin and move well but structured enough to hold its shape and curves. It also did not feel heavy or restricting considering the amount of tulle and fabric on the skirt. It moves well and I didn't have difficulty with walking or running in it despite its floor length. This was the absolute best part of the dress! It feels like a princess ball gown or something out of a fairy tale.

Alterations

The girard corset top has been altered so that it is hemmed in at the top so the cups don't gape open. The fabric is not cut so the alteration can be reversed.

The Effie skirt comes with a sash. The concealed buckles at the top of the zipper broke when I first put it on, but has since been professionally fixed. No other alterations to the skirt were made.
