The Dress

I fell in love with this dress when I tried it on in December 2018! It hugged my curves snugly, but I was still able to breathe, walk, and dance a lot at my reception. I did have to hitch the dress up my thighs quite a bit in order to sit down at the reception. Fortunately there were no food or drink spills on it, and the ceremony and reception were both indoors on a cool fall day, so sweat and dirt were held to a minimum. The dress is fairly structured in the bodice with some light boning, but I still wore Rago shapewear that covered my midriff and thighs, so that part of my skin didn't touch the inside of the dress. There is some minor wear and tear on the button elastic and a small part of the lace train has a little tear. I didn't use the spaghetti straps that came with it, so they are in pristine condition.

I felt like a goddess and I will always cherish the memories of my beautiful wedding day. Now it's time to say goodbye to the gown as my husband and I embark on a new adventure of minimizing our things and living abroad!

Alterations

Cups added to the bust for support, and the bodice was also taken in slightly for a more snug fit to the bust. A three point bustle is in the back.
