The Dress
Timeless ball gown silhouette with feminine beading along bodice. Chiffon overlay is swept at a flattering angle to the side of the waist and opens up on the skirt to reveal a cascade of beading. Lace adorns the full skirt (built in tulle underskirt with a little poof, but I rented a full underskirt from my bridal salon). Gorgeous buttons along the back hide a zipper!
For a traditional cathedral ceremony, I had 3/4 sleeves added with a discreet snap on the back, then removed for reception. (See photo of dress lying flat). Custom made with same chiffon and beadwork. I am 5’3; I wore 3-inch heels and this gown still reached the floor without any drag.
This gown was worn for photos and winter wedding only — totaling about 5 hours. Was cleaned after use and stored in pet-free/smoke-free home in original garment bag; would recommend another cleaning for wrinkles and faint makeup mark on inside of front corset after I tried it on for these photos! :)
