The Dress

This gown was a dream! It’s so feminine and elegant and has a lot of volume for being as light as it is. The lace on the bodice is good quality and the crystal beading and stitching detail are all intact.

Good condition. No stains, but I did take photos in it after and it may have some slight “greying” from street dust on the train or edges. There is one spot where the tulle on the hem has a small tear; it’s not noticeable because there’s so much volume. I was careful not to drag it as much as possible. Could easily be dry cleaned or even altered to remove. There are four layers 2 liners, 1 lightweight lace, and one tulle overlay on top of all.

Fits like a glove for my measurements -you can see from the photos that it was very fitted(typically wear a size 2P; 32DD bust). If you have a smaller chest this would likely work for you. If you are even a tiny bit bigger than this, it will not fit. The corset can be tightened or loosened to fit the waistline. The back has a zipper for the hip/booty area, below the corset lacing. There is no boning, which makes for a more breathable fit in my experience, and I was able to sit in it. Am 5’ tall and wore 3” heels.

Gown retails for $1150; current list price brand new is $399.00. Worn once for 2 hours at my wedding (no dancing, ceremony and photos only).

My husband and I had to reschedule our wedding twice due to circumstances outside our control. Our wedding day was such a sweet homage to our dedication and commitment to our marriage no matter the cost. I loved wearing this romantic gown to celebrate our magical day. Alterations

Tapered tack hem in front 3” across front panel only. Band of lace and tile removed. You might want to have it professionally finished to blend into the other trumpet panels. I had no problem with it for photos, etc. I was in a hurry and couldn’t get in for a full alteration because we had to reschedule our wedding on a week’s notice because of COVID stay at home orders.
