The Dress

As seen in Hello May!

I'm selling my beautiful Diane von Furstenberg gown worn to my wedding in Perth, May 2019.

To this day people still tell me how much they loved my wedding dress and how unique it is.

I wanted to look modern, stylish and wear something non-traditional and this ticked all of the boxes. It's made of a beautiful heavy crepe fabric which creates a beautiful silhouette and didn't feel 'clingy' at all. The v-neck and cuffs are trimmed in silk. It has a deep v-neck front and back, however it holds in place beautifully with a tie across the back of the shoulders that you can have as tight/loose as you wish (depending on the width of your shoulders).

There is a beautiful split up the back of the dress to roughly knee height making moving around and dancing easy and non-restrictive. Our wedding day turned out to be a glorious 28 degrees but I didn't feel hot in the dress (nor did I get any unsightly sweat marks) due to the neck line, and as the temperature dropped that evening I didn't feel cold either due to the long sleeves so would suit a wedding at any time of the year really.

Evidently I didn't wear a bra and held the dress in place with some Hollywood tape that stayed in place all day (and all night!).

At the time of our wedding (I'm currently pregnant so unable to try it on and show any non-professional photos unfortunately) I was a size 8, 12B/C cup size bust and I am 160cm tall). I wore 4.7 inch heels with the dress and it was the perfect length.
