The Dress

Stunning Essense of Australia 100% polyester wedding dress. Unsure on model or what year it was made. Bought pre-loved from Secret Lace Bridal in Auckland in March 2019. Fit like a dream from the moment I put it on and definitely had the "yes to the dress" moment. I felt amazing in this dress and have had so many genuine comments about how beautiful it is. Worn in March 2020 and found it perfect for the hot weather we had.

Four layers:
- champagne silky-like thinner skirt liner
- champagne satin feel heavier skirt layer
- cream detailed lace skirt layer
- cream and champagne very fine detailed lace bodice and skirt outer layer.

Long train that flares out beautifully for photos and walk down the aisle. Able to be hitched up on wrist loops to easier walking.

Boned bodice that fits snugly while accentuating bust and hips. Deep v-neck with very fine thin straps. Backless with zipper.

Had to make minor adjustments due to expanding pregnant belly. All adjustments are easily reversed back to how I originally bought it.

Only drawback I found was needing to invisible tape some of the finer lace due to my bust getting bigger. Sat nicely once taped down.

Professionally dry cleaned with My Dress Box. Fantastic job - it is now cleaner than when I purchased it.

Haven't put my measurements in as I'm currently 8 months pregnant so wouldn't be accurate.

Alterations

Added a lace up back to allow for expanding pregnant belly. Zipper still in place and functional. Lace up easily removed.
Changed bra cups to larger size and shifted further down to better fit my size and shape.
Added loops to train layers for holding on wrist (these broke through the night as I danced more and more!). Easy to add new loops.
