The Dress
This is a gorgeous laced gown with a sheer boat neck, plunging back covered with sheer chiffon, and a removable corset. The sweeping train gives a romantic look. Its embroidery bodice detail is stunning!!! Laced embroidery, beads, and sequences are carefully placed creating an illusion bodice that shows a little bit of skin (still appropriate for a church wedding if you wear a veil covering the back).
You will fall in love with this gown the moment you put it on, because I did! Before this, I tried a few dozen dresses that were in a lower price range, but nothing came close to how I felt in this gown as it's absolutely gorgeous!! It was a little over my budget but I have no regrets because it was so comfortable for an all-day wear and flowed so well (needed it to for a hot day).
Other details to mention:
- Corset can be worn without a bra, or wear without the corset and instead with sticky bra cups
- Zipper closure on the side seam
- Inner fabric lining is a elastane polyester, Outer fabric is polyester chiffon
- Includes garment bag & BHLDN wooden hanger
- Will throw in the handmade sash that I made
- Dry-cleaned
- Wore a 1" heel sandal with the gown
- Ordered it from Seattle Anthropologie; paid for cross-border duties
