The Dress

Feminine and elegant gorgeous wedding dress. Size UK 14, true to size. Due to design it would fit size 12-16.

Jessica dress by Gabby Garos. Ivory ballgown princess silhouette dress with sweetheart neckline, lace detailed top, a diamanté appliqué on the belt, corset back and a tulle skirt with a lace trim. I wore the dress without a an underskirt and the skirt sat perfectly.

Comes with a matching viel, double-teired fingertip length, trimmed with lace which compliments the dress and matches the dresses lace perfectly.

The dress was worn for less than 2 hours, our wedding was just before lockdown and we postponed the reception so it was only worn for the ceremony and photos after. As much as I adore the dress, I have decided to sell it and get a new one to surprise my Hubby at our blessing/reception.

The dress cost £599 and the veil cost £79 from a local bridal boutique. Would like to sell both together as the veil really is a perfect match to the dress.

The dress will need to be dry cleaned. There are some marks around the bottom of the dress/trian from walking outside. Other than this the dress is like new.

Alterations

The straps were altered to be bardot/off the shoulder. The lace was removed before the alterations and restitched once the alterations were done to ensure the straps looked unaltered.

The dress was taken up, I am 5ft4 and wore approximately 3 inch heels. The lace was removed by hand and then reapplied by hand giving it a flawless finish.
