The Dress

WHAT A DRESS! I am very reluctantly selling my beautiful Sasha dress with tan underlay. Made from the most exquisite Jaipur lace, the Sasha dress was SO comfortable. It hugged in all the right places and was so easy to move around in all day, from gorging at the reception, to dancing the night away, I never felt restricted. I got so many compliments, I felt like a princess for a day!

I fluctuate in weight a lot and no matter when I tried the dress on in the lead up to the big day, it still fits perfectly. It not only looked amazing in person but looked even better in photos, especially when the sun was setting the tan underlay really made the Jaipur lace pop! I am still receiving comments from friends and family on how stunning the dress was.

I am a standard size 10, and my measurements are:
Height: 164cm (without shoes)
Bust: 93cm (D cup) 14D
Waist: 75cm
Hips: 101cm

The dress has been professionally dry cleaned and are ready to make another lucky bride very happy!

Alterations
I only had some small alterations from a stock standard size 10:
- it was taken up slightly at the front but kept the 2m train length
- there are two pins taken in at the back which were hand-stitched so can be easily removed
- a loop was added to carry the train

This can easily be unpicked if you prefer cups. I’ve left it in just in case it works for someone else. I had alterations done by a recommended bridal place ($600). The straps were taken in 1.5cm as the neckline is very low and the front length of the gown taken up slightly. I left the length as long as I could knowing I would be selling it afterward. Measurements are alterations are: Front skirt length from the waist belt down to the floor length is 43 inches, shoulder strap to v neck is 11.5 inches, shoulder strap to waist belt 14.5 inches, waist is 28-29 inches and shoulder strap to the bottom of the front length of the dress is 58 inches. The train was not altered and has a bustle loop. I have had the dress professionally dry cleaned through MWL Cleaning $280).
