The Dress

I bought this dress one week before I got married during covid and couldn’t believe how perfect it was and that it only needed the slightest alterations. That is, small amount of boning in the bodice, bras loops in the back so the bra didn’t ride up, little loops to allow me to tie up the hem while dancing, and slightly taken up on the hem at the back. It was very comfortable to be in all day and dancing (albeit with a small number of quests) was very easy. I’ve had the dress dry cleaned and it’s ready to make another bride happy.

This is what the KWH website said about the dress and it was 100% correct “This gown looks like a structured, tailored wedding dress but by beading the sequins onto a bias cut skirt these dresses have flexibility in the fit and will accommodate many different body shapes. Because of the flexibility of the fit, this should reduce the amount of alteration work required to tailor the dress to your liking. The weight of the sequins allows the dress to skim the body in a figure flattering way. Hem length from the waist to hem is a minimum of 117cm / 46 inches.”

The dress has a sweet heart bodice, textured long sleeves, a back that features an exposed cut-out and a fine beaded belt. It is fully lined with stretch lining and has a centre back zip.
