The Dress

The Vera Wang Emmeline is truly a dream dress. It's soft, dreamy, feminine and floaty with an illusion (sheer) corset bodice.

I purchased the dress at Vera Wang in Sydney for my 2013 wedding in Paris. I chose the Emmeline for its ballgown silhouette and beautiful layers of tulle and organza as well as its stunning metallic gold hand-painted floral detailing on the skirt.

This dress is a US size 2 but I had the dress taken in and the bodice altered into a sweetheart neckline at Vera Wang's preferred alterations specialist in Sydney. A bustle was also added. I am an AU size 6.

The purchase of this dress comes with a matching Vera Wang ivory two-tier cathedral length veil (pictured) as well as an original Vera Wang garment bag. The lace bolero (pictured) will not be included.

I'm 167cm and wore 10cm heels on my wedding day.

I'm in the process of arranging for the dress to be professionally dry-cleaned by Vera Wang's preferred dry cleaners in Sydney so it can be sent directly to your home for your convenience!
