The Dress

Gorgeous lace and tulle sweetheart style wedding dress. When bought, I had a custom belt added - taupe belt with exquisite diamanté detail on the front. The belt has been sewn into the dress so as not to take away from the corset back, something that makes this dress unique.

I wore this dress once on my wedding day and I loved it. The detail of the dress is outstanding - elegant but not too flashy. I loved the way that it accentuated my curvy figure and beautifully showcased my best features. I fell in love with the dress when I tried it on because it made me feel beautiful even though I was unhappy with my body at the time.

The dress is a UK size 10 but fits up to a size 14 (which is the size I was at the time) and still fits fine. There is an insert at the back which allows the dress to expand as needed without affecting the corset design. There is no need to wear a bra with this dress as it’s very supportive. This was essential for me!

The dress has a lovely tulle train with some lace detail. I wore the dress with a hoop on my wedding day but it looks equally beautiful either way (I needed the hoop to make the length more manageable as I’m quite short). A hoop is not necessary but gives another option. I rented one from the dress shop.

I haven’t had the dress dry cleaned so there is a small amount of dirt underneath the dress which is not visible when wearing. Aside from that, there are a few marks caused by make-up etc. inside of the dress but no visible marks on the outside of the dress. I would assume that the buyer of the dress would get the dress dry cleaned regardless of whether it had been dry cleaned anyway (that’s what I would do) so I have priced accordingly.

The dress has been carefully stored in a wedding dress box and wrapped in special protective paper.

Alterations

The length was altered at the time of purchase and as mentioned in the description, has an added belt.
