The Dress

I chose this dress because it was so easy to move and dance in. I knew I was going to be an active bride that would dance and run around the ballroom, and this dress allowed me to move easily since it's soft and light. The fabric is luxurious and soft, but durable and didn't wrinkle. I had a custom organza belt made to cinch my waist even further, which I'd recommend. It allows you to take your own spin on a simple dress, and even transition to multiple looks through the night if needed. I also had a custom veil made ($180) that I would sell with the dress if there is interest.

The following info is from the Jenny Yoo site, though the no longer make this style. The sleek, modern Catherine gown in luxurious Silk 4 Ply Crepe has a sweetheart neckline with a fitted bodice to accentuate the bust. A bias-cut skirt gently falls to accentuate the figure. Designed to be worn on its own, the Catherine gown can also be paired with an endless number of separates and accessories such as the Tory Capelet for a more personalized look. This gown is fully lined with a court train and has a center back invisible zipper.

Alterations

Dress was hemmed for my height and buttons were put in for bustling (can provide photos). Also added more structure to the bust area to ensure the dress would stay up so I wouldn't have to pull it up through the night.
