The Dress

Made by local Vancouver Dress company Truvelle, this is the Abbott dress.

Size 8 but fit me (a size 4) so would also fit size 4 or 6. Could potentially fit a 10 seeing as the back is tie up and really the only form fitting place on the gown.

Worn only once for ceremony & dinner (4-5 hours)

This dress is fully silk & lace, and pretty lightweight.

It was super airy, and I felt fairly cool on our hot day, but also warm enough as the sun was going down. Super comfy dress!

I adored my dress with it's subtle vintage, yet laidback look, and I hope another bride will love it as much as I did too.

Alterations

Straps were shortened to fit me, ribbon waist detail was added and back was opened into a slight V shape to expose more of the tie up ribbons.

I also had this dress hemmed to fit me in my shoes, I am 5’7” & wore with 3 1/2" heels.

I didn't need to wear cups as the bustier portion is quite thick. (Though I have cups if you’d like to have some sewn in yourself)

Will include matching cathedral veil (as pictured) which retails $200+ tax

Both Dress & Veil have been dry cleaned at my expense (cost $400)
