The Dress

Fell in love with this 2019 Rime Arodaky dress because it is stunning, SO comfortable to move around in, and it photographs really well. I wanted a lightweight, modern yet romantic, deep v-neck tulle/crepe dress that hugged me in all the right places (since I'm athletic-built, have shapely quads, and don't have a narrow waist) - this dress is truly MAGICAL. The tulle overskirt was hand-embroidered in France and my favorite part about it is the carefully traced delicate rose pattern on the cap sleeves. A few speckles of butterflies/hearts and the same rose pattern is carried over onto the sheer back and long overskirt train. I had a lot of compliments wearing this show-stopping dress and I felt so beautiful and confident in it!

PRO TIP: I wanted to have the same edge-stitched rose pattern on the train too but because I bought the dress too close to my wedding date (6 weeks before the day, yes, now I know that's way too late....), the seamstress did not have enough time to get it done for me! Something for the future owner to consider because that would be a gorgeous addition!

My husband and I had an intimate wedding and reception right after so I only had the dress on for 5 hours. The gown has been professionally dry cleaned and is in great condition. Do let me know if you have other questions or want additional photos!

Alterations

The seamstress made some minor alterations like sewing on B cups into the dress, since I couldn't wear a bra - this can be easily removed/refitted. The skirt has a small button and loop bustle to lift the train for ease of traveling and the dress length was altered to fit my 3" heels - I am a size 6 and 5'5".
