The Dress

Last call before I sell this locally. Wore this incredible dress for my wedding and it was a dream. I'd love to pass this along to another bride and save you some of the headaches I had buying a custom dress directly from Grace Loves Lace, finding the perfect seamstress, and bridal level cleaning afterwards (spent over $3,500!).

Original Measurements (Grace Loves Lace has bizarre sizing. I'm never an XL or L. Think of this as a petite, busty, size 6 gown. Note I am 5"2)

Alterations

Incredible celebrity seamstress (the preferred Grace Loves Lace seamstress in Los Angeles). She transformed this dress to actually look like the model photos on Grace Loves Lace (the custom dresses straight from the designer can be way off as mine was).

-Brought in, sized down from essentially a size 8 to a size 6 (lost weight)
-Ruffled the bum area as the designer intended (GLL's model photos do NOT match how the dress arrives)
-Removed white bust cups and tightened the bodice so you can wear without a bra (I'm a 34 DD and was shocked at how secure I felt without anything showing through)
-Bustle comes sticking out in a sloppy way. Covered it up with lace so it's easy to get to but does not ruin the silhouette
