The Dress
A mermaid design, fitted at the waist, with the skirt and train in crepe and tulle, along with lace and guipure for a sensual and sophisticated bodice and illusion neckline, both at the front and back.
The bodice blends into the skin creating a beautiful tattoo effect. The dress comes with sewn-in invisible bra cups (D-E) to give gentle support, whilst the long sleeves with bare shoulders accentuate the wearer's femininity.
The full length train adds elegance, and can also be easily secured into a bustle for ease of movement if desired.
The dress was originally ordered in a UK size 14, and alternations were made to the bodice to fit UK size 12. It would be ideally suited for a UK size 12 wishing to make slight alterations to the skirt, or to someone like myself who is a size 14 hip, but slightly smaller on top.
The dress has been professionally dry cleaned, and is in generally excellent condition. A few buttons are missing from the back of the dress, but could be easily replaced.
The waterfall veil pictured is also available for purchase with the dress, price negotiable.
Alterations
Originally a size 14 at the time of purchase, the bodice has been adjusted to fit a size 12 bust and waist (bust size at time of wearing was 32E). The skirt and length received minimal adjustments (height at time of wearing was 5ft9 with small heel on shoes).
