The Dress

2 in 1 wedding gown - Inbal Dror Couture 2019 collection

The star of the Inbal Dror 2019 couture collection.

The fabric and dress was designed and handcrafted in her atelier. The sequins are hand stitched and the unique design makes this dress one of a kind. The sequins are sparkley, but not over the top. I have had endless complements on this dress! I really didn’t want to take it off!

The Top.
There is the beautiful skin coloured body suit with amazing unique "medieval" sleeves with a Cersei Lannister vibe. The slit at the elbow allows the sleeves to be comfortable without getting in the way. I did a dance routine with these sleeves and they were never a problem!

The body suit has an elegant ruched v-neck front and low cut back. I customised a white tulle layer to cover my breasts, leaving the skin to show through the beading on the sides and back of the top. The original had puffy shoulders, I customised mine to be sleek to my shoulders.

The dress comes with 2 interchangeable skirts.

1. A-Line skirt with small train - for the ceremony and that wow factor! Inbal Dror does not use hard structures, she uses layers of fabric to create volume. So it doesn't feel like you are wearing an umbrella and you can still move easily. I customised a white knee length lining with high split as I wasn’t brave enough to have it transparent, but this can be easily removed.

2. High Slit sheath skirt - the open slit on one side allows you to dance and move around freely without having to worry about tripping over. The model in the runway show wears one without any lining, but I have mine made with an ivory white lining.

The dress was tailored to my measurements and my height with 12cm (4 3/4 inch) heels. I am 162cm (or 5ft3). Both skirts have been shortened to floor length in the front.

For reference, my measurements are Waist 69cm(27inch), breast 82cm (34inch), hips 94cm (37inch).

With a good tailor, the dress can be enlarged a few centimeters on the waist and on the hips. The body suit can also be lengthened or shortened as required.

The dress will be dry cleaned before being sent to the future bride.

This really is the most beautiful dress, and I felt absolutely magical in it!
