The Dress

I found this dress at a sample sale in the summer, and fell in love with the beautiful lace and fun fringe. I have since found a dress that fits my venue and my height better. I am 5'10" and, in bare feet, this dress was just the right length. I plan on wearing heels, so it makes it just a little too short. If money were no object, I'd keep this one to dance in!

This dress in excellent condition, no damage, just a small makeup mark on the bodice. It is unaltered. The dress lining is in ivory, which I personally prefer over the nude lining that can be found on the Willowby website. The floral lace is soft and so beautiful. The bodice has boning and is unlined with nude cups, I was planning on getting it lined in ivory in alterations. In pictures 5 and 6, we put a strapless top under the bodice to get an idea of what the dress would look like with the bodice lined in ivory (it obviously looks a bit lumpy, but it helped to be able to picture it).

The bodice laces up across a low back, so sizing is likely flexible. I found the waist and hips to be a bit too big on me, but I have slim hips in comparison to my bust. I'm usually a size 6 or 28 in pants and a size 8 in tops or dresses.

I couldn't believe my luck when I found a gorgeous and unique Willowby dress for a fraction of the regular price! Hopefully, I can pass this luck on to another bride! Let me know if you have any questions or would like more photos.
