The Dress

I bought this beautiful dress from Still white but it is just a little bit too small for me. My wedding is in January and would love to sell this dress to another bride-to-be as soon as possible.

This wedding gown was designed and made by Fara Almasi. I had this dress made after trying on many dresses in Perth but not finding one which combined all my favourite elements and still used the quality, luxury fabrics which I think make certain you feel elegant on your wedding day.

This dress was designed for a modern wedding held at a winery and inspired by clean lines and an understated, sophisticated look.

The cut is extremely figure flattering. The bodice is structured and cinched in to define the waist. The peplum and bodice are covered in a bold Italian lace and the pure silk skirt is lined and skims the thighs. The skirt has small train which adds an element of drama. The train can be buttoned low on the skirt for carefree dancing later in the night!

The fabrics are luxurious and the hand-stitched lace has been finished with an attention to detail that I could not find in other dresses available in the shops here in Perth. I paid $5,500 for the dress new and am selling for $2000 ono.

This dress would suit a size 6 – 10, and alterations can be done of course. I’m sure Fara would be happy to help. The dress has been professionally dry-cleaned.
