The Dress
An allover lace slim A-line gown featuring a Queen Anne neckline, ruched natural waistline, lace up keyhole back, and finished hem lace edging the chapel length train.
I wore this dress for our beach wedding overseas in Mauritius. It fitted nicely in a small carry on suitcase (so I didn't spend the flight worrying about lost luggage!) The lace means it is a great 'no creases' type of dress. On 'our day' it was very hot and humid, however I remained pleasantly cool calm and collected in this dress - and as someone who has never worn a really fancy ballgown type dress, I found it easy to walk around in... I even navigated several long spiral stair cases (all thanks to my photographer who dragged me all over the hotel snapping away!!)
I am an AU size 12 and just shy of 180cms tall, wore this dress with flat sandals. The dress has not been altered at all. The lace up back panel allows for some weight fluctuations, whilst helping to give you a nice shape and support, it also has an in-built bra in the bodice.
It is in perfect condition and has been recently dry-cleaned (receipt available for viewing) - in fact the dry cleaner noted that it was the cleanest wedding dress they had seen and asked if I had actually worn it!
