The Dress

This timeless ivory gown is something really special. The gown named ‘Sarelle’ is made with mikado satin and features a boned corset top with a corset back and full skirt with stunning train. It is a very structured gown that creates the most flattering feminine shape. My waist has never looked smaller! The fabric has a pearl like shine to it that makes it stand out both day and night.

This dress was made to order in a AU size 12. I am normally a size 10-12 in clothing but went the 12 for the cup size plus the corset still allows the dress to be brought in a lot. I had the dress altered so the skirt length worked with my 167cm height in heels and buttons added so the train could be bustled.

I also had a custom tulle overskirt made by the same designer (Wendy Sullivan) so you can be assured that it works perfectly with the gown. The waist belt was made with the same mikado silk and it is easily removable with a few small buttons. Please note the photo shows me in store trying a similar sample tulle skirt but it has a break at the front. The skirt I am selling goes all the way around to make the entire skirt appear tulle. The back of the skirt remains the same as the photo with a train and button clasps. This is perfect for the bride who wants one look for the ceremony and a different look for the reception as you can have the tulle overskirt for your vows then satin skirt for the dance floor. The tulle skirt and matching chapel length veil are also to be sold with this gorgeous gown so you’re getting two looks for the price of one!

The Sarelle gown’s RRP price is $2600, the tulle skirt was RRP $1000 and the chapel length veil was RRP $300. So the RRP is $3900. I am selling all three items together for $1000 that’s a saving of nearly $3000!

I found my dream dress but unfortunately had the wrong guy, and thank goodness for a pandemic postponing the wedding I had time to work that out. So that means this stunning dress hasn’t been worn since the alterations and is brand new. I would love to pass it on to a beautiful bride to be.
