The Dress

I purchased this gorgeous dress brand new from Jenny and Gerrys Bridal House (in Adelaide) in July 2017 for my wedding in May 2019. It features embroidered cotton flower lace over a 'vintage ivory' satin dress. The colour is perfect for warm-toned skins. The train is just the right length, being long enough to flow and to hold, but so long it gets in the way. Features buttons over a zipper, allowing the dress to fit perfectly. Buttons are few enough that putting it on and taking it off didn't take too long, and important feature on the day. I was comfortable wearing this all day.

I had this beautiful dress dry-cleaned after the day and it has been stored in a dress bag since. There are no stains, and there is only minor pulling in the lace on the hem at the back. You can only see it if you look very closely.

Alterations

Dress was altered by Jodee at The Fitting Room (also in Adelaide). It has been taken in around the bust, the straps have been moved forwards over the shoulder to show the detail at the front, and the train has had bustle and a wrist strap added. I have the lace offcuts saved.
