The Dress

I absolutely loved wearing this dress on my wedding day. I am so sorry to see it go, but the thought of another bride being able to wear it makes me so happy!

The stretch georgette fabric is incredible; it is extremely comfortable and gives a really smooth finish to your shape. The dress front was custom made by Enzoani at the point of manufacture to include a small modesty panel and to continue the Georgette fabric up the bodice to the shoulder on the front to make it more appropriate for a church wedding. If you see the original dress online, it is much more revealing on the front. The back remains sheer to show off the beading. There are a few buttons on the back, along with a zip fastening and the beading detail is so pretty. There is a small train and a loop and ribbon to tie the train up for dancing.

I got so many complements on the dress, with lots of people saying they hadn't seen any other dresses quite like it. There is no fabric lace anywhere on the dress, so the simple cut of the dress plus the intricate beading makes it really pop.

I had it professionally drycleaned a few weeks after the wedding (June 2019) by Masterclean Ireland; they are amazing and clean all the sample sale dresses in wedding dress shops. I had intended to take photos of any marks on the dress, but I honestly can't see any!

I am 5ft 8inches and wore the dress with 9cm heels.

Alterations

Dress taken in slightly at the hips and bust. Dress is very easy to alter; the beading comes off as one entire piece and can be hand-stitched back on once the main dress has been altered.
