The Dress

This is a never-worn but altered Jasmine Couture bridal gown. It has elegant beading that brilliantly catches the light, and a full train in the back. The lace overlay is ivory, and the next layer is satin in a vintage champagne color. I had the gown custom altered (more details below) with a keyhole back and corset tie. The only reason I never wore it is because I gained a significant amount of weight and could no longer fit into the gown and bought a new dress instead. The dress is a size 10, but with the corset back should fit sizes 8-12. No loose threads, stains, or blemishes. I purchased it at a boutique bridal store in Michigan and wish I could have worn it for my big day, but now I’m hoping another beautiful bride will find it as lovely as I do.

Alterations

I gained weight, so I had the buttons in the back removed and instead put in a single button at the top with a corset at the bottom, which makes the dress slightly forgiving (lace up to size), and also has an elegant key hole open back that is stunning. I also had a bustle put in using the original buttons.
